Hello my dear bloggers!!! Here I am with my second class report. Thanks
God, this time it was really nice…I didn´t have the complete number of
students, but with the ones that were in the classroom were enough to have fun
and to develop my topics in a really nice way….well, after my bla, bla, bla… Let
me tell you that my topic was QUANTIFIERS, and as warm up I divided the group
into 2 teams A and B, then I gave some nouns for each group and their task was
to organize either in countable or uncountable side on the board and the team
that finished first was the winner. They are really experts working with countable
and uncountable nouns, for that reason I didn´t have any problem with the warm
up.
As second task I brought a big
collage that contains a lot of pictures related with food, cans, bottle,
vegetables, milk, oranges, cookies, butter, sugar, juice, etc. and I didn´t
mention the use quantifiers when referring to the images, but immediately they started
saying : there is a bottle of milk, there are some carrots, there isn´t any
turkey, and so on.
In that way they started using the
quantifiers without noticing, and the activity helped me to introduce the
grammar part which was the explanation of the use of SOME, ANY, HOW MUCH, HOW
MANY, A FEW and A LITTLE.
After the grammar part, I gave them
3 short practices in order to see if they really managed the quantifiers. It
was really nice to notice that most of them did the activity in a short time.
After that, I also brought a listening practice related with a picnic in which
a couple of friends were talking about some food to buy, and they applied the
quantifiers too.
Finally, I asked them to work in
small groups. I gave them a last practice for them to match, complete, write
and finally come to the front and share with the rest of the class their own
ideas orally.
At the end of the class, I felt
really satisfied because I could make them write, speak, read and listen in the
same class, and for sure we had fun!!!

Hello ma´m, it is really good to know this time you enjoyed the class. Dealing with countable and uncountable nouns sometimes is confusing but you brought simple and meaningful activities for students to practice and that helped them understand and put into practice the structures.Visual aids always make the learning more appealing for students and i know you are very creative so your students must have had a nice time.
ResponderEliminarWell done, blessings...;)
Hello my dear,
ResponderEliminarIt's nice to know that this class was better than the other one in regard with the number of ss and dynamic and interactive as always ;).
I love your warm-up, I have done it and ss have fun, review vocabulary and learn new words with it which is great.
It love your lesson plan in general, it is STEALABLE because it has everything; TPR for kinesthetic ss, pictures for visual ss, a listening for auditory ss and the ss also practice the four macro skills! Great done Sarita! (y)
What is up Sarita!! Meeaoowww!! I really like the way you introduced the topic. The warm up was a clever one. The students participated since the very beginning of the class. This is what we really need; to make students get involved uncounsciously with the session. All the activities were nicely develop. I think that if I had been there, I would had enjoyed the class as I think you studetns did it as well. Keep doing your best my friend. Greatly done!! Warmest greetings!!
ResponderEliminarHello Sarita!! Wow, you made them to participate a lot!! I liked it, and I imagined that it was nice to know that they already had knowledge about the topic, because it helped you to developed your class in a better way. Keep on working hard my dear meeeeeoowww, congrats!
ResponderEliminarHahaha as always, great job! You had them participate, and I know that they learned so much with you. Your activities always make the class better and consequently, more meaningful.
